Baxter F. Ball Memorial Fund

It seems everyone has a “Baxter story.” During this difficult time, we have shared stories and memories and reflected on Baxter’s career and passions. And we all know Baxter’s biggest passion was MPH.

For the past several years, Baxter has been focused on seeing the completion of a project near and dear to his heart; the construction of a library media center.

When recently asked about his future retirement plans, Baxter replied, “I don’t want to leave until this library is built.” Anyone who worked with or knew Baxter closely knew that the physical construction of the library was at his very core and essence.

Upon the request of his family, and in his honor, we have created the Baxter Ball Memorial Fund to allow you to make a gift toward this effort.

With your support, we will honor Baxter and see this project to completion. Thank you for your gift, thank you for your donation toward a project so close to Baxter’s heart, and thank you for your support of our school.

  I was saddened to read of Mr. Ball's passing and yet heartened to read of his passion for education and his family and friends. On behalf of the ACT in this region, I wanted send our condolences. As I have read the many tributes to him, I wish that I had had the priviledge to have worked with ACT when he served on the ACT council. The impact of his goodness will bless others forever.

  My deepest sympathy at this time of your loss. Baxter and I were planning to meet this summer on my annual visit to mid-state New York, but I will remember him fondly from our past visits and various reunions. MAY HE REST IN PEACE! GOD BLESS US EVERYONE!

  To Donald, Jonathan, Rebecca, and Baxter's dear family and friends, Our sincere condolences to the Ball family for a man who was a gentleman and an educator far beyond the norm. He had the ability to listen, and allowed our children to grow out-of-the box and prosper in their chosen professions. They will take the spirit of MPH with them wherever they go.
